In terms of recordings most people think of music, however everything from a baby’s first words to an audio recording of the children’s school concert have been recorded. Many of these recordings regardless of the quality have deteriorated or been damaged over the years.
If you are amongst the majority of people that no longer have the means to play a vinyl record or cassette tapes, then this is the way to capture your favourite compositions in a modern way. Compact Discs will not wear, warp or crack.
Using high quality audio editing software, we can remove most of the unwanted noise in a vinyl recording. However in some cases, the desired sound is so close in character to the noise, that some noise has to be left so as not to sacrifice parts of the sound that should remain in the recording.
It is important to realise that this level of audio restoration may not cure all your unwanted noise on a recording. There is a reasonable limit to which this service will be most affective and we want you to be happy with your final product. Tracks which have deep scratching or skip on playing may still exhibit noise at these points.
We take your original audio recordings, transfer it to a Compact Disc, seperate the songs into individual tracks on the CD, design a detailed cover and present it to you in a jewel case.
Your new CD will hold up to eighty minutes of your personal audio recordings. In the case of an LP or cassette each album will be transferred to an individual Disc (unless otherwise requested).

This service is offered for the purpose of transferring commercial records and cassettes that are not already available on CD. If the record or cassette is available, it will be obviously a lot cheaper to go and purchase the CD outright. This note does not apply to personal cassettes or records.
Before undertaking this service for you, it is a requirement that you understand the issues of copyright of these items. Therefore, before accepting to do the work, Hillview Computer Designing is legally obligated to have you read and sign a legal disclaimer saying that you as the customer accept full responsibility under the Copyright Act 1968. The full disclaimer document will be available to you when we initially discuss the work with you. This note does not apply to personal cassettes or records.
The process of duplicating CD Projects only applies to personal cassettes or records only. Copyright issues prevent us from making duplicate copies of a Commercial Record or Cassette.
